Since 2007, he has practiced Ayurvedic medicine in  India, Nepal, South Africa, and the USA.

Born in Manchikeri, a quaint village nestled in the Western Ghats  of Karnataka, India, Kanada's father, Vidvan Narahari Keshava Bhat, is a  celebrated Sanskrit scholar, poet, and author with numerous works on  theatre plays and Yakshagaana—a traditional form of performing art. Embarking on a new musical voyage at 22, he trained for several  years with sitarist Sanjeev Korti and later found guidance under Acharya  Abhik Mukherjee. Today, Kanada is an esteemed sitar player who has  captivated audiences worldwide with his performances at major festivals.  He has collaborated with renowned maestros on stage and in studios. His  discography includes two albums—'Naadi' and 'Vistar'—and an EP titled  'Sonokata', all of which are available on major audio streaming  platforms.
